About the Event

Why in Brandon, Vermont? Because it is the birthplace of EVs. Back in 1834, Thomas and Emily Davenport invented the first electric motor and electric vehicle.

This year, for the first time ever, the Town of Brandon – in partnership with local utilities, car dealerships and more – is hosting an international EV Festival. We will honor electric vehicle technology, its origins and the acceleration of its future. Once considered futuristic, EVs are now the norm, and Vermont is proudly leading the U.S. growth rate for plug-in registrations per person.
